All high school students in the 16th District are encouraged to submit original artwork. In May, the winning artwork will be sent to Washington, where it will hang in the hallway of the U.S. Capitol building for one year.
Established in 1982, the Congressional Art Competition provides an opportunity for members of Congress to encourage and recognize the talents of young artists. More than 650,000 high school students have taken part in the Congressional Art Competition since its beginning, and Congressman Renacci is continuing the tradition of spotlighting the talent of students from the 16th District.
