Joe Wilson
Joe N. Wilson, 62, of Wooster, died March 2, 2011, at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, following a short illness.
Joe was born Oct. 23, 1948, in Wooster, to the late Wilbur and Wanda Wilson, and married Zoe A. Cornelius on August 23, 1981. She survives. He graduated from Dalton High School in 1967 and worked for the Rayco Company, Wooster, during the ‘80s and ‘90s. He had been self-employed for many years since.
Joe enjoyed watching and coaching his sons’ sports and was formerly active in the Marshallville youth baseball program. He also enjoyed helping his family with home projects and loved to mow lawns.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Travis (Michele) Wilson of Orrville, and Brett (Janel) Wilson and Cory Wilson, both of Wooster; four grandchildren; brothers, Terry (Elsie) Wilson of Wooster and Marty (Karla) Wilson of Canton; sisters, Vickie (Dave) Menges and Margo (Larry) Huff, both of Dalton, and Lonnie Stockham of Kidron; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held March 7, at Auble Funeral Home, Orrville, with Pastor Eli Troyer officiating. Burial was in Wooster Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
