Nathan Cummings

Nathan C. “Nate” Cummings, 27, of Wooster, formerly of Dennison, died May 15, 2011, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born Dec. 8, 1983, in Massillon, Nate was a son of Jami Sue Beans, beloved grandson of Charles F. and Janice Cummings of Dennison, and a son of Marvin E. Fiester. He was a 2002 graduate of Indian Valley High School and attended Uhrichsville Christian Fellowship Church. Nate had been a highly respected department supervisor for J.L.G., Wooster. In his work for J.L.G., Nate represented the company in many parts of the world, having recently returned home from Singapore and Brazil. Nate had a powerful work ethic, having previously worked in the construction field and at the Dennison Yard.

Nate loved sports, whether it was golfing, playing flag football, or doing what he most cherished, watching his brother and sister in their athletic endeavors. His family, his large circle of friends, and his community will sorely miss Nate. The accomplishments that Nate achieved in 27 short years are a testament to his character and drive.

In addition to his mother and father, Nate’s surviving family include his sister, Jennifer Lynn Beans of New Philadelphia; brother, Caleb Joshua Beans of New Philadelphia; half-brother, Shane Fiester; half-sister, Keely Hutton; uncles, Charles (Deborah) Cummings, Randall (Shawn) Cummings, Kurt (Jody) Cummings, and Casey (Lexi) Cummings; cousins, David, Bryan, Derek, Danielle, Kassidy, Jordan, Janelle, Christopher, Quintin, Cade, and Camry; and many other family members.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Phyllis E. Wallace; and his grandmother, Betty Fiester.

Services will be held May 19, at noon, at Uhrichsville Christian Fellowship Church, with Pastor Tom Klaserner officiating. Internment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call May 18, from 5-8 p.m., at R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Dennison.

Those wishing to honor Nate’s memory with a memorial contribution are encouraged to do so to Tuscarawas County Right to Life, P.O. Box 262 New Philadelphia 44663.
