NARFE to assist with state convention
When the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Wayne County Chapter 2218 met May 12, they heard Beth Bishop speak about burial preplanning.
During the business meeting members were again reminded that they should be writing their Congressmen regarding the budget appropriations and how they affect the federal retirees and employees.
Members were also reminded that they will be selling sandwiches at Buehler’s in Orrville July 2.
The 2012 state NARFE convention will be held April 26-28 in Fairlawn and the chapter is helping plan the affair.
