Donation drive for Joplin tornado victims

A community donation drive has been organized for the victims of the tornados that devastated Joplin, Mo. Organized by Lydia Thompson, the drive is being called Wayne County Ohio, Caring for Joplin, Missouri.

Donations will be accepted at the College Hills Shopping Center on Beall Avenue in Wooster in the former Other Mothers storefront from Monday, June 6, through Friday, June 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. There will be a large sign in the store window indicating donations are being accepted.

Items needed include: Clothing, household items, non-perishable food, personal care, and cleaning supplies.

Financial donations may be made directly to: The Community Fund of the Ozarks, P.O. Box 8960, Springfield Rd., Springfield, MO 65801.

Those with questions or desiring more information are invited to stop by the store when donations are being received.
