Paul McIntyre

Paul Richard “Dick” McIntyre, 79, of Wooster, died July 10, 2011, at Hospice Care Center, Akron.

Dick was born Jan. 11, 1932, in Coshocton. He had worked for Miller Pipe Line as a pipeliner. He served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a life member of Holmesville American Legion Post 551 and the Killbuck VFW.

Surviving are a daughter, Valarie (Rusty Bader) Van Houten of Wooster; son, Jeffrey (Brenda) McIntyre of Wooster; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Gendaszek, Justin and Michelle Van Houten, and Megan and Cody McIntyre; great-granddaughter, Madison Gendaszek; sister, Betty Immel of Wooster; and special friend, June Tarleton of Holmesville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara McIntyre; and son, Scott A. “Munch” McIntyre.

Services will be held July 14, at 11 a.m., at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. Interment will follow in Moreland Cemetery. Friends will be received July 13, from 6-8 p.m.
