Hospice & Palliative Care held their second kids camp, Camp Waves of Emotions, the week of August 8. The children were kept busy with many activities, including water balloon games, interaction with the therapy dogs, and a fun-filled treasure hunt. The children also enjoyed working on craft projects and completing an activities workbook for children who have faced the death of a loved one. The week ended with a balloon release and a small program for parents and guardians. For inquiries about the 2012 summer camp, contact Lynn Lilly, LSW, bereavement coordinator, at 330-264-4899.
