Senior Forum equals senior fun

The 2011 Wayne County Senior Forum promises to be a fun-filled day for area senior citizens with an opportunity to learn more about important issues facing this generation. This annual event is being held on Friday, Oct. 14, at Fisher Auditorium, OARDC, in Wooster. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m.

Various issues facing today’s seniors will be discussed: Where to Turn When You Don’t Know Where to Go – Learning about Wayne County’s 2-1-1 System, Tips on How to Stay Healthy, and Valuable Updates on the Medicare Benefit.

Lunch will be provided beginning at 11:15 a.m. and is free for Wayne County residents over age 60. For persons under 60 years of age, there will be a charge for lunch. All reservations are due by Sept. 30.

Wayne County Senior Forum is open to the public. To register or for additional information, call Lauren Cruise at 2-1-1.
