Wayne County School Career Center to hold parent-teacher conferences

file photo

The Wayne County Schools Career Center will host parent-teacher conferences Thursday, Oct. 6, at the school from 4-8 p.m. Parents of all career center students are encouraged to attend, and appointments with individual teachers are not necessary.

A map and list of academic teacher locations have been sent to parents in the mail, and extras will be available at the front of the school.

Parents of exercise science and sports medicine students should go to the classroom at Wooster High School, and parents of teaching professions students will have conferences in the log cabin at Wayne College. All other career-tech instructors will be in their labs.

Parents should bring their son’s or daughter’s schedule to the conferences, or get it on Progress Book in the Technology Resource Center before visiting the academic teachers. Bring your user name and password if you wish to get the schedule at the career center.

The career center is at 518 W. Prospect St. in Smithville. For more information or directions to the school, call 330-669-7000 or go to http://www.wcscc.org.
