Living well with arthritis

The Arthritis Foundation, Great Lakes Region, Northeastern Ohio, and Wooster Community Hospital are sponsoring a free community education program on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the hospital, 1761 Beall Ave., Wooster.

Speakers include James Gesler, M.D., and Padma Vellanki, M.D., and physical therapists Nicole Dordea and Stacey Mathis of Wooster Community Hospital’s HealthPoint. Learn about treatment options for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis and the importance of a healthy diet and weight management.

Attendees can take part in an Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program demonstration. There will also be exhibits, door prizes, free educational information, and light refreshments. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. to view exhibits, and the program begins at 6 p.m.
