Floyd Craft

Floyd “Butch” Craft, 53, of Big Prairie, died Oct. 25, 2011, at his home, following a sudden illness.

Butch was born Oct. 26, 1957, in Lodi, to Marie Theresa and the late Floyd Lester Craft Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Butch was a carpenter and an excellent woodworker. He was a very talented man.

Surviving are his wife, Sue A. Craft, whom he married Oct. 28, 1988; daughter, Susan (Joe) Barber of Salinesville; stepdaughter, Dusty (Ray) Vehrs of Big Prairie; five grandchildren, Floyd, Gwendalynne, and Destinee Barber and Zari and Quentin Vehrs; his mother and stepfather, Marie and Ira Campbell of East Sparta; siblings, Charlotte Rimel of Wooster, Cheryl (Cecil) Barthalow of East Sparta, and Gary Craft of Millersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two nephews, Philip and James Hickman.

Services were held Oct. 29, at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Rev. Clifford Hughes officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family to help with expenses.
