Dave Todaro represented my family in a wrongful death case involving my sister, who was killed in a horrific car accident when a semi dump-truck ran a stop sign and broad-sided my sister’s SUV.

Dave determined that four defendants were responsible for my sister’s death. They were as follows:

1) It was determined the air brake system on the dump truck was defective;

2) The truck manufacturer failed to send the recall notice of the defective air brake system to the owner of the truck;

3) The repair shop charged with maintaining the dump truck never effectively addressed the truck driver’s many complaints of brakes not performing properly and did not have a certified air brake mechanic;

4) Because of the poor brake performance the dump-truck driver elected to accelerate through the stop sign at 58 mph.

Dave tried this case to a jury in Ashland County and during the third day of the trial the case was settled by agreement between all parties. The settlement provided financial security for my niece and nephews and we will forever be grateful for Dave’s representation. Dave has always been there for us anytime we have had personal or professional questions.

Dave Todaro’s perseverance, patience and professionalism are qualities that will serve the Wayne County Municipal Court well.
