Saloma E. Yoder, 78, of Fredericksburg, died Nov. 5, 2011, at her home, following a brief illness.

Saloma was born Jan. 14, 1933, in LaGrange County, Ind., to the late Emanuel and Susie Miller. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Surviving are sons, Raymond (Mary) Yoder of Fredericksburg, Jacob (Ada) Yoder of Danville, Emanuel (Susan) Yoder of Apple Creek, John (Mattie) Yoder of the home, Andy (Laura) Yoder of Apple Creek, Levi (Anna) Yoder of Fredericksburg, and Jonas (Ada) Yoder Jr. of Millersburg; 27 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Anna (John E.) Weaver of Apple Creek.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonas A. Yoder, whom she married Nov. 27, 1956; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother; and three sisters.

Services will be held Nov. 8, at 9 a.m., at the family home, with Minister Christopher Miller officiating. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery, Paint Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime.
