Lee was born April 2, 1925, in Killbuck, to the late William and Lovie Cantleberry. He grew up in the Killbuck area and served as a private in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He previously worked as a printing press operator for the Wooster Daily Record and the Elyria Chronicle. He finished his career working for the Cleveland Press for 22 years, retiring in 1982.
Lee was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 40 years. He loved music and was previously a member of a barber shop quartet.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Adele Cantleberry; brothers, Lewis, Bernard, Edwin, and William; and sisters, Zada, Helen, and Vivian.
Services were held Nov. 10, at Auble Funeral Home, Orrville. Burial was in Wooster Cemetery.
