The event will feature a holiday bake sale, raffle, and free pictures with Santa. Proceeds from the bake sale and raffle donations will benefit foster children of Wayne County Children Services and a Neighborhood Ski Club for downtown youth and children run by Central Christian Church.
Children are invited to have a professional picture taken with Santa from 2-6 p.m., where each child will receive a free 4-by-6 photo. While waiting to see Santa, children can venture through Who-ville to collect special prizes from Who-ville characters and the Grinch. Adults can peruse the bake sale while children watch a showing of The Grinch. A raffle featuring a variety of items donated by businesses, including gift cards, and a Heat Surge fireplace, will take place at 6 p.m. Raffle tickets will be available that day or by stopping by Central Christian Church prior to the event. Winners will not have to be present to win. Each child who attends will receive a wrapped gift from Santa and a personalized gift bag to collect prizes from characters.
