The Wayne County Women’s Network came together to Give a Teddy Bear a Child at Montavino’s Dec. 13. This annual way of sharing a little love to give a child a brighter Christmas also gives back to all the women who attend. The women shared delicious appetizers and Traci Hanger-Hoffman started the evening off with an open microphone for voluntary sharing. Women gave a brief overview of what they do professionally, personally, or for fun. This year’s event carried a humorous thread as stories were shared with laughter, applause, and much audience support.
Two women from the Nick Amster Workshop brought hand-woven rugs in all colors and sizes to sell to support the workshop. Women’s Network events are open to all women in Wayne County.
The next planned activity Jan. 5 at the Wooster Inn is the Women’s Network Power Lunch featuring Robbie Ross, senior vice president, Wealth Management, FirstMerit Bank. Contact Kathi Bond at 330-683-3375 for reservations.
