Becky Arnette, of Apple Creek, graduated May 8 as an RN from Aultman School of Nursing. Becky’s husband is Brett Arnette and they have a daughter, Alexis. Becky is the daughter of Elaine Newman of Apple Creek and the late Garry Cutter.

Becky took classes at Wayne College for two years for her prerequisites. She was then accepted into Aultman School of Nursing and took classes there for two years. She was elected to Student Senate, Student Affairs, and was a member of the Student Nurses’ Association. Becky was head of the yearbook committee, and was on the dean’s list all four years.

Becky was chosen to give a speech to the Aultman Alumni Banquet, which she did April 23. She also was chosen as one of the two students to give graduation speeches.

Before graduation, there is a Pinning Ceremony in which a nurse’s pin is put on the students. It was decided that Becky’s husband’s grandmother, Lotti Hosfeld of Fredericksburg, have the honor because she graduated from Aultman as a registered nurse 55 years ago.
