Imagine Wooster: A community conversation

How can we build on the good work already being done in Wooster and create a vibrant, sustainable future for our community?

This question provides the central theme for “Imagine Wooster,” a community conversation hosted by Wooster Area Transition on Saturday, March 31 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Wayne County, 3186 Burbank Road, Wooster. All members of the community are invited to join the conversation and to connect with each other to find out how individuals and organizations can work together to make positive changes in our area.

The “Imagine Wooster” evening will begin with a potluck from 5-6 p.m., followed by the conversation and idea sharing from 6-8 p.m. There is no charge for the event, but participants are invited to bring a dish to share with others.

Wooster Area Transition is a newly developing group dedicated to promoting resilience and local solutions to community needs in Wooster and neighboring areas. Inspired by the global Transition movement – a positive, community-based response to global climate, energy, and economic crises – Wooster Area Transition welcomes everyone who is interested in building on the successful community efforts already in place so that we can find creative local solutions to these global crises.
