Living well with arthritis

It’s possible to live well with arthritis, and The Arthritis Foundation has partnered with Wooster Community Hospital to sponsor a free program on June 5 for those interested in learning more about arthritis pain.

The Arthritis Foundation, Great Lakes Region, Northeastern Ohio and Wooster Community Hospital are sponsoring a free arthritis program on Tuesday, June 5, from 5:30–8:45 p.m. in the auditorium at Wooster Community Hospital, 1761 Beall Ave., Wooster. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. to view exhibits with the first speaker at 6 p.m.

Presentations will include Medical & Surgical Treatments for Arthritis Pain by James Gesler, M.D., Update: Rheumatoid Arthritis by Padma Vellanki, M.D., and Anti-Inflammatory Diet by Bonnie Willis, RD, LD. There will also be an Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program demonstration, community exhibits, door prizes, and light refreshments.
