Erma Ewert
Erma Ewert, 92, of Millersburg, died June 5, 2012, at Walnut Hills Retirement Home.
Erma was born July 12, 1919, in Holmes County, to the late David and Sarah Schnell. She worked for the Killbuck Savings Bank, Berlin, for 25 years, retiring in 1989, and was a member of First Mennonite Church, Sugarcreek.
Erma is survived by her sisters, Lulu Troyer of Sugarcreek and Myra Gerber of Apple Creek; and seven nephews and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ewert, whom she married March 29, 1946; son, Verlon Ewert; and sister, Marie.
Services were held June 8, at First Mennonite Church, Sugarcreek, with Pastor Jayne Byler officiating. Burial was in Berlin Cemetery.
