Alice was born Dec. 13, 1953, in Norfolk, Va., the daughter of the late George “Tom” and Annabelle Casey, and was united in marriage to William C. “Shaggy” Bowers on June 6, 1986. He survives.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She dearly loved her family and grandkids. Alice and her husband were members of the Pak Rats Motorcycle Club, Orrville.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Choyice M. Bowers, Stacie R. Bowers, and Courtney Smejkal, all of Orrville; grandchildren, Logan S. Sartin, Ira B. Sartin, Katelyn E. Sartin, Collin J.C. Monraga, Alexander J. Flores, Magan Goch, Trent Goch, Mecenzie Goch, Dredyn Smejkal, and Brendyn Cruz; sisters, Mary (Jack) Stanton of Phoenix, Ariz., and Carol Wyand of Mentor; brothers, James Wall of Orrville and Rich (Michelle) Casey of Loudonville; sisters-in-law, Beth Casey of Orrville and Donna Casey of Wooster; 12 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and -nephews; and many loved ones and friends.
She was preceded in death by brothers, George Casey and Randy Casey.
A memorial gathering will be held June 16, from 6-8 p.m., at Orrville American Legion Post 282. Cremation has taken place. There will be no calling hours.
