They will begin our celebration weekend on Saturday, at 5:30 p.m., with a tour of Behalt, a 10-foot-by-265-foot cyclorama painting telling the story of the Anabaptists, at the Amish and Mennonite Heritage Center. After the tour, they will return to the church from 6:30-9 p.m. for a reception, which will include time for fellowship, refreshments and pictures.
Sunday, July 29, at 9:30 a.m., the 100th Anniversary Celebration Service will be held at the church. The service will consist of individuals sharing from the history, congregational singing representing the different time periods of music in the church, input from current pastors and a time to honor those who have served in the past. The service is slated to last until noon.
The featured entrée of the noon meal is barbecue chicken.
