Daisy Stoll

Daisy E. Stoll, 95, formerly of Marshallville, died peacefully July 30, 2012, at Wooster Community Hospital.

Daisy was born Jan. 21, 1917, in Pequea, Pa., the daughter of the late Howard and Anna Campbell, and married Ralph F. Stoll on April 20, 1947. She moved to the family farm near Marshallville, where she raised her family and worked on the farm. Ralph died in 1965.

Daisy enjoyed flowers and was an avid gardener. After retirement, she provided respite care for local families through the Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities. She made her home with her daughter, Anna, for a number of years in Wooster.

Surviving are sons, Chester R. (Barbara) Stoll of Marshallville and Elmer (Gayle) Stoll of Wooster; daughter, Anna Bailey of Wooster; grandchildren, Christopher Bailey, Ralph C. (Lisa) Stoll, Karen Stoll, Rebecca (Bruce) Sigler, David (Heather) Stoll, Sarah (Josh) Aduddell, Katie Stoll, Amanda (Jaime) Rodriguez, and Jessica Aberegg; great-grandchildren, Tristen and Ethan Stoll, Blake Sigler, Noah and Hannah Stoll, Riley Aduddell, TreVaughn Stoll, and Brisa Rodriguez; sisters, Thelma Gibson of Lancaster, Pa., and Susan Gingrich of Baden, Ontario, Canada; and brother, Guy E. Campbell of Pequea, Pa.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 13 siblings.

Services will be held August 2, at 11 a.m., at Gresser Funeral Home, Orrville, with Jim Bassinger and Mark Bankert officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery near Marshallville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
