Eight local Wayne County businesses will present the third annual June in January outdoor living preview Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 26 and 27 at Buchwalter Greenhouse, 6554 Back Orrville Road, Wooster. Hosted jointly by Buchwalters, BK Concrete Construction, Daniel’s Aire-Serv, Fit-n-Fun Pools and Spas, Keener Landscaping, Runions’ Furniture, Steiner Fence, and V.I.P. Travel, this fun and idea-packed weekend is sporting a Hawaiian luau theme in its third year. Outdoor patio, landscaping, spa and furniture displays will be presented inside Buchwalter Greenhouse’s heated display showroom. A Holland Grill cooking demonstration is scheduled for Saturday, and a food concession featuring tastes from Asia will be offered by Wooster’s new Thai One Restaurant. How-to seminars on outdoor living trends, fairy gardening, creative use of outdoor pavers, and Hawaiian travel will be presented by the participating businesses on both days, and a plant sale will be held on Sunday.

Admission is free, and many of the sponsors will offer preseason specials and discounts on their products and services. Attendees can also enter a drawing for hourly door prizes plus a five-night Hawaiian vacation package from Wooster’s V.I.P. Travel, including airfare for two to Maui and lodging at the Royal Lahaina Resort on Kaanapali Beach. No purchase is necessary, but entrants must be 18 or older. Hours for June in January are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26 and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27.
